Tutorial: myDay live activities

Recitation's myDay feature utilizes live activities so that you can see your daily schedule on your lock screen. This tutorial will go over how to set it up and use it.

Step #1 - Navigate to your backpack and Your Classes

In the top right corner of Recitation on your home page is a backpack. This is where you can keep track of all your classes, settings, and more. Open your backpack by tapping on the backpack icon, and then select the tab, "Your Classes".

Step #2 - Add or Edit Classes

You can either add a new class or edit your existing ones.

Existing Class	New Class
Select a class by clicking on the tile Input where the class meets Scroll down to the section that says "Class Meets On" and input the days your class meets and the time If your class has a lab or recitation, switch the toggle to on and specify the day and time Repeat for all your classes	Press the "Add" button Input your classes name Select a color and icon for your class Select the class's start and end dates Input where your class meets Scroll down to the section that says "Class Meets On" and input the days your class meets and the time If your class has a lab or recitation, switch the toggle to on and specify the day and time Press "Save" Repeat for all your classes

Step #3 - start myDay

Now that all your classes have the meeting times set, you can return to the app's home screen, and click on the myDay icon which is just to the left of the backpack icon. In the top right, press "Start myDay"

Step #4 - Lock Screen

Now go to your lock screen and if prompted, press allow live activities. Now you can see your upcoming class, and press the arrow to continue to the next one. You can clear the live activities by swiping to the left.
